We’re thrilled to share that Hollywood Handy is in the early stages of building a brand-new interim housing facility in South LA! This project will offer 40 much-needed beds and support in partnership with the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health—bringing hope and healing to our community. We’ve teamed up with the brilliant architect @augustin.valery to create a space that’s as beautiful as it is purposeful, inspired by A timeless mid-century modern design. Handy fulfilled the full contract, furnishing all 14 dorm rooms, the case manager’s office, the lounge, and the outdoor lounge area. Each space was designed to provide a warm, supportive, and uplifting environment for women in recovery. This project is especially meaningful to us, as Hollywood Handy is a 100% women-owned business. Helping women in need is deeply important to our mission, and we’re proud to have contributed to this incredible cause.
